Dessie Juanita (Monroe) Cox, 78
SMYRNA - Dessie Juanita (Monroe) Cox, of Smyrna, passed away Monday, July 16, 2007. She was 78.
Mrs. Cox was born Jan. 21, 1929, in Staunton, Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters and her husband, Charles E. Cox.
She is survived by four children, Shirley and her husband Richard Eshelman of Maryland, Joan and her husband, Vernon Ebert of Wisconsin, Dennis and his wife, Linda Cox of Missouri, and Charlene and her husband, Gerald of Delaware; one step-son, Charles E. Cox Jr.; eight grandchildren; one step-grandchild; eight great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held today.
Burial will be in Fairfax Memorial Garden, Fairfax, Va.
Arrangements by George P. Kalas Funeral Home, Oxen Hill, Md.
