MILLSBORO - Denise Derrickson Feddiman, of Millsboro, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, in her home, surrounded by family. She was 45.
Mrs. Feddiman was born Dec. 17, 1961, in Salisbury, Md., daughter of Catherine Derrickson Reynolds of Berlin, Md., and the late Marvin Jefferson Derrickson.
She subsequently moved to Delaware and married. She loved doing puzzles, reading books and crocheting.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Drayton A. Showell; her stepfather, Leroy Reynolds; and her father-in-law, Robert D. Feddiman Sr.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Robert D. Feddiman Jr. of Millsboro; a daughter, Karen Feddiman of Millsboro; her mother, Catherine Derrickson Reynolds of Berlin; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Lezoria and Melvin, Sarah, Jacqueline and Larry, and Betty Derrickson, all of Berlin; nine additional brothers-in-law, Charles Feddiman, Theodore Feddiman, Brian Feddiman, Walter Feddiman, Homer Feddiman, John Farlow, Danny Feddiman, Michael Feddiman and Gary Feddiman; five sisters-in-law, Barbara Feddiman, Doris Sturgis, Doretha Feddiman, Emma Feddiman and Mildred Feddiman; her mother-in-law, Rosemary Feddiman of Frankford; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and her best friend, Emma Parnell of Berlin.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in St. John Second Baptist Church, Millsboro, where friends may call two hours earlier.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
