Delsie Louise Allen

Dover - Delsie Louise Allen, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, in Kent General Hospital.
Louise was born July 3, 1937, in Greensboro, Md. to the late, Herman and Mary (Horney) Guesfeird; and lived in Marydel for many years, before moving to Dover.
She had worked for many years at the San-Del Pickle Factory, in Marydel, and also delivered newspapers for the Delaware State News. In her free time, Louise enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, shopping, going out to eat, and hanging out with her friends at Luther Towers; and spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Allen (2004); a son, Ronald Lee Allen, Sr. (1997); a daughter, Sherry Lee Forster (2017); three brothers, two sisters, and two great-grandchildren.
Louise is survived by her children, Debbie and Bobby Wambold, of Dover, David and Eleanor Allen, of Greensboro and Beverly Sturm, and her partner, Stanley Zober, of Camden; daughter-in-law, Ann Allen; her grandchildren, Amy Banks, Jeffrey Crockett, Jr., Jen and Lee Allen, Ray and Jamie Seeger, Danny and Melissa Allen, Chad and Amber Wambold, Robert and Jessica Forster; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018. Burial will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery, Sandtown.
