LAUREL - Deborah J. King of Laurel, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at her residence. She was born in Milford, Del., on May 15, 1959, daughter of the late Paul Shahan and Shirley Ingram Shahan who resides in Frederica, Del. Mrs. King had been employed for 10 years as a CNA at the Milford Manor Nursing Home and later worked as a waitress for 29 years at the Golden Corral Restaurant in Seaford, Del. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband of 35 years, David Justin King, Sr.; her son, David Justin King Jr. and wife Stephanie Rae of Laurel, Del.; her daughter, Dina M. King of Laurel, Del.; a brother, Clint Shahan and wife Terri of Columbia, S.C.; a sister, Joann Keilbasa and husband Edward of Felton, Del.; and two grandchildren, Brina J. Lee and Kanaan David King. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at 2:00 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Dodd Carey Chapel, 307 North Bedford Street, Georgetown, DE., where friends may call two hour prior to services. Graveside services will be on Thursday August 2, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Cokesbury Cemetery, Georgetown, DE.
