'Debbie' 63 MILFORD - Deborah A. Lyons, "Debbie" 63, of Milford, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Delaware Hospice. She was the daughter of the late George and Anna Mae Reed. She graduated from Harrington High School Class of 1968. She then married her husband James. Debbie worked at Southern States in Milford for 12 years and Felton Bank, now CNB, as a teller, at various locations ending her career at the Camden Branch. She was a lifetime member of the South Bowers Ladies Auxiliary. She was a devoted wife, mother grandmother and sister. She loved Christmas and taking care of her grandchildren. Her family was her life. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sports activities and proved to be their best fan. Debbie also enjoyed watching NASCAR, traveling to Florida and collecting light houses. She enjoyed attending the Delaware State Fair and watching her grandchildren compete with their livestock. She is survived by her loving husband, of 44 years, James "Jimmy" Lyons; and three beautiful daughters, Kim Lyons Rosenquist and significant other Jr. Roosa, Dawn Dryden and husband Bo and Jamie Kerns and her husband John' seven grandchildren, Kayla Baker, Chase Rosenquist, CJ Baker, Cayne Rosenquist, Alyssa Kerns, Wyatt Dryden and Bryce Kerns. Also, three siblings, Jerry Outten, Nelson Reed and Bobby Reed. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 23, 2013 in the Chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, where friends may call from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 for a viewing. Interment will be Milford Community Cemetery, Milford, Delaware. Contributions can be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, Delaware 19963 or South Bowers Ladies Auxiliary, PO Box 314, Milford, DE 19963.
