GREENSBORO, Md. - David W. "Danny" Allen, Sr. passed away on December 6, 2021 at Milford Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Allen was an avid hunter and enjoyed camping.
Mr. Allen is survived by his wife of 38 years, Eleanor M. (King) Allen; two children, David W. "Danny" Allen, Jr. of Harrington and Melissa K. Allen of Greensboro, Md.; two sisters, Beverly Sturm and her companion Stanley of Camden Wyoming and Debbie Wambold and her husband Bobby of Dover; his sister in law, Ann Allen of Dover; seven grandchildren, Maddy, Ryan, Sarah, Holden, Daniel, Baileigh and Paisley; and his three dogs: Max, Runt and Chelsea.
Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Louise D. (Guesfeird) and Robert William Allen; his brother, Ronnie Allen, Sr.; his sister, Sherry Forster; and his grandson, Trenton Dale. A memorial service will be 3 p.m., Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where friends may visit with the family from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be private.
