SEAFORD, Del. - David Ray Owens, of Seaford, passed away Friday, November 18, 2011, in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford. Born in Baltimore, Md., the son of the late, June Owens Ward and Layton Ward of Houston, Del. He was a Millwright for Fluoro-Daniels in Seaford. David was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Seaford. In addition to his father, he is survived by his companion, Penny L. Atkins of Seaford; his sister, Pam and brother in law Pete Fraley; nephew, Dustin Fraley of Houston; and special friends, Bill and Charlotte Graham and their sons, of Seaford. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2011, at the Wesley United Methodist Church, Atlanta Road Seaford. Rev. Joseph Kelley will officiate. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to, Gift of Life, 401 North 3rd Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19123. Arrangements by Watson-Yates Funeral Home Seaford, Delaware.
