David L. Thomas, 50

RIDGELY, Md. - David L. Thomas of Ridgely died of natural Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, in Mercy Hospital, Baltimore. He was 50.

Mr. Thomas was born in Easton, son of Shirley Ann "Peaches" (Pinkney) Thomas of Ridgely and the late Leroy Thomas.

He worked as a line worker for local canneries.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Markell M. Thomas of Chester; a brother, Angelo Thomas of Severna Park; four sisters, Angelina "Snookie" Thomas of Dover, Del., Azalie "Acie" Wise of Greensboro, Shirley "Stuffie" Thomas of Ridgely and Polly Marie Thomas Mason of Federalsburg; and his devoted friend and companion, Vastina "Tina" Brooks of Easton.

Services will be 1 p.m. Dec. 1 in the Allen A.M.E. Church, Thomastown, where friends may call after 11:30 a.m.

Burial will be in the Sandtown Cemetery, Hillsboro.
