MIDDLETOWN - David L. Aiken passed away at home on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018.
He was born in Warwick, Md., son of the late Richard Delbert Aiken and Anna Degnan Aiken. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He retired from General Motors Corporation after 44 years of employment. He was a life member of the Lt. J. Allison O'Daniel VFW Post 475 and U.A.W. Local 435.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard D. Aiken, Amos W. Aiken and Robert L. Aiken.
David is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ruth Mullen Aiken; sister, Mary Lou Hurtt of Galena, Md.; brother, John A. Aiken of Cecilton, Md.; and his dog, Tippe.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018 at 12 p.m. at St. Dennis Cemetery, Galena, Md.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
