David B. Sapp

DOVER - David B. Sapp, 47, of Dover, passed away Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at Thomas Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia. He was born on July 17, 1963, in Dover, to Edwin and Lucy Gray Sapp. He was a painter and worked for contractors in the area for over 25 years. He worked for the City of Dover at one time. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stephanie Alberts Sapp in Jan. 2011; father, Edwin L. Sapp in 2007; and his two grandmothers, Ima Gray in 2006, and Louise M. Sapp in 2008. He is survived by mother, L. Inez Sapp of Dover; brother, Russell Sapp; brother and his wife, Jason and Candice Sapp of San Diego, Calif.; daughter, Angel Sapp of Dover; stepdaughter, Danielle Young of Milford; fiance, Amber Hallett and fiance Arthur Bennett of Dover; grandson, Caden Bennett; granddaughter, Alicia Young; granddaughter, Ni-Liah Tilghman; two nieces, Angie Sapp and Madison Carroll of Camden; and nephew, Jonas Sapp of San Diego, Calif. Remembrance Services will be 7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at Trader Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
