Wallace, 'Dev'
Davenie R. Albrecht Wallace, "Dev" was born February 24, 1950 to David & Geraldine Albrecht in Neptune, New Jersey. Dev passed away in Smyrna, Delaware on October 17, 2021, with her family at her bedside.
Davenie graduated from Neptune High in 1968 and remained local most of her life. She relocated to Delaware in 2008 and truly loved her community in Spring Meadow where she met so many amazing neighbors. Davenie was a loving, caring sister, mom, and friend who will be greatly missed.
She joins her husband, William Wallace (Bill) and her mother and father along with other family in eternal rest.
She leaves behind her daughter, Cathy Morris; son, Jason Wallace; a brother, David Albrecht II; her sisters, Maureen Albrecht & Eleanor Albrecht; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Even in all the pain and sorrow she always smiled and loved to laugh. She was always looking to meet someone new and enjoyed starting a conversation. She is now at peace and has her voice back.
Celebration of Life, Monday, October 25, 2021, 3 p.m. at Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming, Del.; where friends may gather beginning at 2 p.m.
