GEORGETOWN - Darlene Harvey passed away peacefully at the Delaware Hospice Center on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018. Mrs. Harvey was born in Dover to the late Herbert and Irene (Hall) Harvey. She was a member of the Frederica Adult Center and loved being around children, and spending time with her family. Darlene is survived by two children, Christy Williams and husband Antonio of Felton, and Christopher Harvey of Bowers Beach; four siblings, Alice Goulet of Felton, Jake Harvey of Camden, Mark Harvey of Magnolia, and Charles Harvey of Bowers Beach; and two grandchildren, Ashton and Alivia Williams. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE 19963, with a time of visitation for family and friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Darlene's memory can be made to: Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
