MILFORD - Danny Wayne Messick, Sr., of Milford, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at home. He was 48. Danny was born in Milford on March 24, 1962. He had worked for Ralph Messick Constriction for 20 years retiring in 2002. He was an avid football and baseball fan, especially the New York Yankees. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. His father, Ralph Messick, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Robin Lynn Calhoun Messick; his mother, Norma Shockley Messick; three children, Danny Wayne Messick, Jr. and his wife Crystal, Kirsten Leann Clendaniel and Ralph Martin Messick all of Milford; two grandchildren, Alex Clendaniel and Callie Messick; two sisters, Joann Havelow and Lisa Jenkins; and five brothers, Robert, Gary, Marty, Ricky and Randy Messick. Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call after noon. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln.
