GEORGETOWN - Daniel Jay Dick, of Georgetown, formerly South Bethany Beach and Bethesda, Md., passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, May 15, 2008. He was 69.
He was born in Washington, D.C., son of the late Walter J. and Harriett (Wilkins) Dick.
Daniel was a self employed salesmen of auto parts and equipment and had served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife of six years, Chiau Ling Dick; four children, Elise Soliz of West Virginia, Sandra Flores of Maryland, David J. Dick of Florida and Dana Rocks of Maryland; a brother, Howard and his wife Sue of Ocean View; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at noon Wednesday in the Bethany Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, West Avenue, Ocean View, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Burial will be in Mariner's Bethel Cemetery in Ocean View.
