MILFORD - Dale E. Wright Sr., of Milford, passed on Jan. 25, 2009, in Christiana Hospital in New Castle, after a lengthy illness. Dale was born on March 4, 1957 in Seaford to the late James and Jessie Wright. He was 51. He was educated in the Sussex County public schools and was gainfully employed with Baltimore Air Coil, Milford. He loved fishing, bowling, basketball, the Eagles and especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Wright; two sons, Jesse Wright and Dale Wright Jr. (Trini); two daughters, Rebecca Lolly-Jones and April Abdul-Rasheed (Hakim); two brothers, James W. Wright Sr. and Randolph Sturgis; three grandsons, Dale Wright, Daquan Wright, and Makai Wright; granddaughtera, Alexis Jones, Alehsia Abdul-Rasheed and Lyric Abdul-Rasheed.; four aunts, Penny Anderson, Mabel Anderson, Essie Mae Beula and Marie Scrivens. Services will be noon Saturday at Mt. Enon Baptist Church, Milford, where friends may call from 10 to noon. Burial will be in Siloan A.M.E. Church Cemetery, Slaughter Neck. Arrangements by Young & McPherson Funeral Home.
