On April 17, 2022, Cynthia Lea Savage peacefully passed away at Bayhealth – Sussex Campus.
She was born on February 12, 1957 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to the late Raymond and Evelyn Bautch.
Cindy honorably served our country in the Army and later in the Naval Reserves. It was while serving in Germany with the Army that she met her husband, Harry Robert Savage.
She received a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from the Wilmington University.
Cindy work as a Medical Technologist for Labcorp in Milford for many years.
Her and her husband are members of the Milford American Legion Post #3.
She enjoyed doing paranormal research, traveling, and going to rodeos, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Pierce.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Harry "Bob" Savage. She is also survived by her daughter, Stephanie Marie Savage-Jester and her husband Ryan; her son, Samuel Robert Savage; her grandson, Pierce Robert Savage-Jester. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Roehl and her husband Michael of Minnesota.
A memorial service will be held at Millsboro Veterans Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro on Wednesday 5/25 at 11 a.m. Please meet at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford to proceed to the Cemetery at 10 a.m.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Post 3, 664 N. DuPont Blvd., Milford, following interment.
