Clifford A. Moore, 90 MILFORD - Clifford A. Moore, of Milford, formerly of Georgetown, died Saturday, August 23, 2008 in Milford Memorial Hospital surrounded by his sister and son. He was 90. He was born on March 8, 1918, son of the late Joseph Russell Moore and Mary (Phillips) Moore. He was a member of the Senior Citizens of Milton, Georgetown and Milford. He retired from Walls Builders as a carpenter and loved sharing his knowledge of the trade with everyone. Playing canasta with his sister and friends was his love, as well as going to the casino to visit a very close friend. He is preceded in death by his wife, Florence E. and daughter Priscilla Moore. He is survived by two daughters, Rosalee Stein and Paulette Vavala of Fla.; son, Ronald A. Moore and Kathy of Ellendale; sister, Margaret Moore; six grandchildren, Michelle, Danielle, Melissa, Harold, Kandace and Ronnie II; two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Macy and five step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Short Funeral Services 609 East Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Georgetown.
