SEAFORD - Charles "Wayne" Wise, of Seaford, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2011, at Delmar Nursing Home, Delmar. He was 65. He was born in Denton, Md., the son of George Wise of Denton, and the late Elsie (Henry) Wise. He was a glass glazer for Booth Glass Co. in Seaford for 27 years. He was a member of Seaford Moose and the American Legion Post # 6 in Seaford. He enjoyed stock car racing and fishing. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Wise. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 27 years, Aliene King Wise; and four children, Pat Lawson of Milton, Johnny White of Ellendale, Donald White of North Carolina, and Jeffrey White of Ellendale; and several grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2011, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call after noon. Interment will be in Hebron Cemetery, Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Seaford American Legion Post #6, P.O. Box 781, Seaford, DE 19973.
