HARRINGTON - Charles W. Moore, Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 2, 2015. Charles was born in Philadelphia on January 3, 1946 to the late Mary Agnes (Moffett) Moore and Charles W. Moore, Sr., Charles grew up in Harrington, Del. He attended Harrington High School and served his country in the U.S. Army. Charles had worked for Sears and American General Life Insurance Co. where he retired from. His interests included writing music and short stories, collecting sports memorabilia and spending time with his family. Charles was predeceased by his parents; his son, Donny Moore and his sister, Kimberly Winters. He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Graham (Jason) and Elizabeth Cichocki (Joe); sisters, Jo Anne Brine (Roger), and Patricia Ondish (Andy); brother Benjamin Moore (Kelly); brother in-law Steve Winters; grandsons Tristan Graham, Joey Cichocki, Nick Cichocki; granddaughter, Raven Graham and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society 92 Reads Way, Suite 205 New Castle, Del. 19720.
