Charles T. Hudson, 71
LEWES - Charles T. Hudson of Lewes died Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 71.
Mr. Hudson was born Feb. 16, 1935, in Lewes, son of the late Edward Thornton and Edith (Simpler) Hudson.
He owned and operated lawn services for many years.
Mr. Hudson enjoyed horses, especially horse racing and harness racing. He also enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James "Ken" Hudson.
He is survived by two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Bill and Edna Hudson of Cool Spring and Ed and Freida Hudson of Lewes; a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Colin Friend of Milton; a sister-in-law, Cecelia Hudson of Rehoboth Beach; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Bethel Methodist Cemetery, Lewes.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Henlopen Grange 20, c/o Jane Mitchell, 1019 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958.
