Charles N. Wayman

MAGNOLIA - Charles N. Wayman, of Magnolia, passed away Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, in Kent General Hospital. He was 51. Charles was born on April 20, 1959, in Wilmington. He worked as a fork lift driver for Kraft Foods for the past 20 years. Charles enjoyed bowling and golfing. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles V. Wayman, Jr. Charles is survived by his mother, Maxine (Sudler) Wayman of Dover; his wife of 11 years, Melvonia (Jones) Wayman; three daughters, Shawanda D. Jones Johnson and her husband Anthony of District Heights, Md., Keyondra A. Wayman of Magnolia, and Ebonique Caldwell-Demby and her husband Raymond of Magnolia; a son, Javontae R. Wayman of Magnolia; four brothers, Dino M. Wayman of Dover, Kevin T. Wayman, Sr. of Dover, Gary R. Wayman of Dover, and Eric G. Wayman of Chicago, Ill.; a sister, Lillian "Shy" Jackson of Dover; and three grandchildren, Shanae D. Johnson, Alexis Caldwell, and Raymond Demby Jr. Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at the Calvary Baptist Church, Queen and Fulton streets, Dover, where friends may call two hours earlier. Burial will follow in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to American Diabetes Assoc., 100 West 10th St., Suite 1002, Wilmington, DE 19801.
