Charles Edward McKinney, 75

MAGNOLIA - Charles Ed-ward McKinney of Magnolia died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, in Bay-health-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 75.

Mr. McKinney was born Oct. 29, 1931, in Halifax County, Va., son of the late Malma and Janie (Womack) McKinney.

He had served as a flight en-gineer in the U.S. Air Force for more than 20 years.

He enjoyed horse races and family vacations, and loved to be with his family and grandchil-dren.

Mr. McKinney was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his com-panion of 26 years, Ethelyne Hollar; two sons and two daugh-ters-in-law, William and JoAnn Hollar, and Keith and Terri Hollar, all of Dover; a daughter and a son-in-law, Renee and Rick Collins of Laurel; a sister, Louise Gates of Elon, N.C.; six grandchildren, Shawn Hollar, Shannon Tuoloch, Nicole Hayes, Brian Hollar, Brandon Hollar and Michael Moore; nine great-grandchildren; a nephew, Gary "Butch" Gates, and his wife, Kathy of Elon; two nieces, Deborah Gates of Burlington, N.C., and Cathy Vaughn, and her hus- band, Jim, of Mooresville, N.C.; four great-nieces; and two great-nephews.

Services will be private.

Arrangements by Pippin Fu-neral Home, Wyoming.
