Charles D. Warren, 72

MAGNOLIA - Charles D. Warren of Magnolia died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, in his home. He was 72.

He was born on Nov. 20, 1934, in Sapulpa, Okla., son of the late Jess and Leona (Bogner) Warren.

Charles served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years, retiring in 1974, with the rank of master sergeant.

He enjoyed gardening, bowling, working in his yard, and spending time with his friends at the American Legion.

Charles was a member of the American Legion, Walter L. Fox Post 2, Dover.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith S. Warren in July 2007.

He is survived by three sons, Charles Warren and his wife Joni of Florida, M. Andrew Warren of Magnolia and Benjamin Warren of Washington; two brothers, Jerry Warren of Florida and Casey Warren of Tennessee; grandsons, Mark Warren and his wife Bridget of Florida and Michael Warren and his wife Fatimah of Egypt; and three great grandchildren Jerron, Ariana and Keira.

Burial with full military honors will be held privately in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.

Arrangements are by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming.
