Charles Clifton 'Chuckie' Smith Jr., 49

DENTON, Md. - Charles Clifton "Chuckie" Smith Jr. of Denton died Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, in the Memorial Hospital of Easton. He was 49.

Mr. Smith was born April 18, 1958, in Easton, to the late Charles C. Smith Sr. and Pauline Harrington Smith of Greensboro.

Mr. Smith, a lifetime resident of the area, was a 1976 graduate of North Caroline High School.

He was a graphic artist employed by the Sheridan Sign Co. of Salisbury.

Prior to working for Sheridan, he was employed by Mulholland Harper of Denton.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death his sister, Deborah McClyment.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Jay Smith of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sisters, Janice Smith of Felton, Del., and Linda Scott of Denton; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro, where friends may call one hour prior.

Interment will be Greensboro Cemetery.
