Celine 'Terry' Smith, 81
DOVER - Celine "Terry" Smith, of Dover, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, at her son's home, surrounded by her family. She was 81.
She was born March 6, 1926, in Berlin, N.H., to the late Albert and Denise (Duquette) Plante.
Mrs. Smith worked at and retired from Kent Systems of Dover.
She traveled throughout the world with her husband and family; and she spoke three languages, French, English and Spanish.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Senior Master Sgt. Edward E. Smith, whom she affectionately called "Smitty"; and her much beloved grandson, Kyle Brandon Shultz.
She is survived by a son and his wife, Gregory P. and Lynn Smith of Dover; a daughter and her husband, Denise S. and David Samans of Dover; a sister and her husband, Jean and Joe Beriault of Georgia; a granddaughter and her husband, Kristen and David Nantz; a granddaughter, Taylor Smith; a grandson and his wife, Jason and Christie Jones; and granddaughter Jamie Barrett and her fiance Tre Roach.
Remembrance services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday in Trader Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may call one hour prior.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Delaware Hospice, 911 Lotus Plaza, Dover, DE 19904; or the American Diabetes Association, 100 W. 10th St., Suite 102, Wilmington, DE; or the American Heart Association, 1151 Walker Road, Suite 202, Dover, DE 19904.
