SAN ANTONIO - Carolyn (Pommell) Poteet, of San Antonio, ended her ongoing journey into the Kingdom of Heaven on Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, due to a sudden aneurism.
During that journey she was an amazing person full of life, laughter and love that seemed to spill over into the many lives she touched every day.
Carolyn was a C17 contracts administrator employed at the Boeing facility in San Antonio for eight years, a job that required meticulous attention to detail to which she served proudly.
An amazing woman with wit, style, independence and an uncanny ability to light up a room, Carolyn graced this earth on April 3 in Jacksonville, Fla., and surpassed the world over with her beauty by her parents, Shirley and Donald Pommell Sr., who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Tricia Pote and her partner Danny; son, Steven Dunn; two granddaughters, Alexandra and Jessica Pote; loving partner, Joe Sharkey; brothers, Don and Roger Pommell; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may inquire to Don Pommell Jr., 100 Caesar Rodney Ave., Wyoming, DE 19934.
