Carolyn Clarice Bordley

DOVER - Carolyn Clarice Bordley, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 8, 2009. She was born on March 11, 1929, to the late Tinley and Mattie Bordley. She worked at various jobs, the most recent one was working at the school on Walker Road with handicapped children. She preached at various churches for 20 years and was a lay speaker. She was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Bordley; brother, Charles Bordley; and a niece, Tonya Sudler. Carolyn is survived by six sisters, Ida Gibson, Pearl Kennedy, Vivian Fisher, Judith Bordley, Patsy Bordley and Carlene Anderson; three brothers, Tinley Bordley, Arnold Bordley and Larry Bordley; several nieces, and nephews. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Pippin Funeral Home, W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery.
