SMYRNA - Carol A. Scott of Smyrna, formerly of Baldwinsville, N.Y., died Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, in Johns Hopkins University Hospital, Baltimore. She was 53.

Mrs. Scott was born April 18, 1953, in Baldwinsville, daughter of John Webber Sr. and the late Patricia (Bell) Webber.

She was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mrs. Scott worked as an executive secretary for the Delaware State Housing Authority, Dover, for several years before retiring due to disability.

She enjoyed traveling, cooking, dancing and reading her Bible.

Mrs. Scott was a member of Freewill Baptist Church, Townsend.

She is survived by her father, John Webber Sr. of Baldwinsville; her husband, John W. Scott; a daughter and a son-in-law, Michelle and Jim Statham of Magnolia; a son, Jonathan J. Scott of the home in Smyrna; five brothers, John Webber Jr. of Fulton, N.Y., Ronald Webber and Larry Webber, both of Syracuse, N.Y., Daniel Webber of Marydel and Chris Webber of Liverpool, N.Y.; two sisters, Janey Webber of Dover and Darlene Church of Baldwinsville; and a grandson, Logan Statham of Magnolia.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Freewill Baptist Church, 4519 S. DuPont Highway, Townsend, DE 19734; or to the American Diabetes Association, Community Service Building, 100 W. 10th St., Suite 1002, Wilmington, DE 19801.
