MILTON - Byron Landon of Milton died suddenly Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, in his residence. He was 54.
Mr. Landon was born Aug. 22, 1952, in Camden, N.J., son of the late John T. Jr. and Ethel (Bowden) Landon.
He was a self-employed masonry contractor.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved people and was known to everyone. He was a devoted husband and father.
Mr. Landon was a member of the Zion Methodist Church in Milton.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Barbara (Bertrand) Landon; two daughters, Khara Landon of Dover and Margaret Ann Landon of Milton; a sister and a brother-in-law, Ann and John Richter of Milton; three brothers and a sister-in-law, John T. Landon III of Nassau, William and Jill Landon of Lewes and Keith and Chris Landon of Nassau; as well as brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery, Union Street, Milton.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947.
