LAUREL - Beulah Mae Williams departed this life on Tuesday, June 12, 2012. She was born to the late Sally V. Anderson and Raymond N. Brown on Monday, December 24, 1917, in Sharptown, Md. She was married to the late Willie Williams and later resided for many years with the late Elias Parker. She was educated in the Maryland Public School System. She was employed for many years at the Delmar Shirt Factory in Delmar, Md.; English Grill and Holiday Inn both in Salisbury, Md. and as a caregiver for the Green Family of Laurel, Del. Beulah was a devoted mother and confidante. She was warm-spirited, fun-loving, and a caring individual who loved her family and grandchildren. She didn't mind helping when needed and always welcomed friends, family and acquaintances to sit with her either in her home or on her pouch swing, for pleasant conversations. Many will remember her for always offering her visitors peppermints at some time during those conversations. Beulah was preceded in death by one daughter, Juanita Horsey; two sons, Robert Williams and Donel Williams; one grandson, Gary Horsey; one sister, Catherine Anderson; six brothers, Calvin Anderson, Melvin Anderson, James Anderson, Nelson Brown, Eddie Brown and Willie Purnell. She leaves to cherish loving memories four daughters, Pearline Williams and Martina Clark both of Laurel, Doretha Williams of Newark, and Mitchalean Williams of Dover; three sons, Bobby Williams of Seaford, Kirkie Williams (Teresa) of Laurel, and Tyree Williams (Sandra) of Millsboro; two sisters, Ethel Clinton of Baltimore, Md. and Doris Brown of New York; 39 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; three nieces, Martina DuPont, Rosalie Moore and Shirley Clay; one nephew, Wayne Anderson. There will be a viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2012, at St. Matthews First Baptist Church, Wolfe Street, Laurel, Delaware. The funeral service will be held at the church also, at noon on Saturday, June 23, 2012, where friends may call two hours prior.
