FARMINGTON - Betty L. Foskey of Farmington passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, in Bayhealth-Milford Medical Center, Milford. She was 73.
Mrs. Foskey was born Feb. 28, 1934, daughter of the late Van C. and Clara S. Keator.
She retired from the Department of Motor Vehicle with 21 years of service, and later retired from the U.S. Postal Service after serving as postmaster at Farmington and Massey, Md.
Mrs. Foskey loved being around her children and grandchildren.
She loved playing dominoes with her friends every week. She also loved the outdoors, cutting grass, riding the tractor, going to yard sales and her animals.
Mrs. Foskey was a member of Cannon Mennonite Church and the Harrington Moose Lodge.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Foskey; and her son, Jeff.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Barbara A. and Donald Murphy of Greenwood, Susan and David MacFarland of Harrington, and Cindy Lou Larimore of Greenwood; a son, Cliff Foskey and his companion Susanne Jones of Farmington; a sister, Lois Bunting of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Robin Marvel, Ginger Chelton, Keith MacFarland, Joann Warrington, Denise Larimore and Chad Larimore; and her longtime friends, Louise Smith, Betty Hamilton and Mary Newnom.
Family and friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 48 W. Market St., Greenwood.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Interment will be held at St. Johnstown Cemetery in Greenwood.
