Bertha W. Bradshaw

Bertha W. Bradshaw, 86 GALESTOWN, Md. - Bertha W. Bradshaw, of Galestown, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, at Mallard Bay Nursing Home in Cambridge. She was 86. She was born on Oct. 6, 1922, in Dorchester County, Md., the daughter of the late Charles Wheatley and Mary Wallace Wheatley. She was married to Jackson Bradshaw who died on Dec. 7, 2003. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Galestown United Methodist Church, the Eastern Shore Thrasherman's Association, and enjoyed sewing and coin collecting. She loved to spend time with her family and her grandchildren. She is survived by one son, Howard J. Bradshaw and his wife, Mary Ann of Galestown; two grandchildren, Barbara Dayton and her husband Jeff of Cambridge, and Buster Bradshaw of Galestown; five grandchildren, Jodi Garvin, Allison Gumpman, Chelsea Dayton, Brianna Bradshaw, and Daniel Bradshaw, one great-great-grandchild, Jaxson Davis; and one sister, Annalee Malizia of Wilmington. A funeral service was held Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A., in Federalsburg with the Rev. Ruth Tull officiating. Burial will be private at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, Beulah.
