Bertha E. Hood, 81
GEORGETOWN - Bertha E. Hood of Georgetown died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, in Harbor Healthcare in Lewes. She was 81.
Miss Hood was a member of Dickerson AME Chapel.
She was a lifelong resident, working 35 years for Draper King Cole of Milton and J.G. Townsend Inc. Georgetown.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie James and Mary Elizabeth Harmon; two brothers, Jessie Hood and Francis Hood; and three sisters, Carrie Borkins, Marie Hood and Viola Hood.
She is survived by her special nieces, Marie and Lottie; her special friend, Wally; a brother, Raymond Hood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Monday in Harmony Cemetery, Millsboro.
Friends may call from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Watson Funeral Home, 211 Washington St. Millsboro.
The Rev. Marcus Briddell will officiate.
Interment will be in Harmony Cemetery Millsboro.
