Beatrice A. Lauser, 64

NEWARK -- Beatrice A. Lauser, age 64 of Newark, passed away Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, in Chester River Manor. Bea was the daughter of Oscar and Josephine (Riley) Harrison. She was born in Upland, Pa., and moved to Newark more than 40 years ago. She worked in the banking industry for many years and at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington for 10 years before becoming ill. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, and doing crafts, but she especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her sons, David Lauser Jr. and his wife Deb of Galena, Md., and Richard Lauser of Townsend; and her two cherished grandsons, Brandon and Nicholas. A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Friday in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St., Galena, where friends may call after 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Chester River Home Care and Hospice, 6602 Church Hill Road, Chestertown, MD 21620.
