Barbara E. Rowe

CLAYTON - Barbara E. Rowe passed away on Apr. 12, 2017.
Mrs. Rowe was born Mar. 19, 1931, in Carlstadt, N.J., the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Bartlett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Bartlett; and her sister, Valerie Deckert.
She was a longtime resident of Pompton Lakes, N.J. and recently lived with her daughter in Clayton.
Barbara was an active member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Parish in Pompton Lakes. She enjoyed various activities to include bingo. Barbara cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her son, Albert E. Bernier, Jr. and his wife, Susan, of West Caldwell, N.J.; her two daughters, Donna E. Maler and her husband, Robert, of Dayton, Ohio and Valerie J. Bulmer and her husband, Mariano Robles, of Clayton; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Monday, Apr. 17, 2017, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date.
