Barbara Ann Darling

Barbara Ann Darling, 60

SEAFORD - Barbara Ann Darling of Seaford died Thursday, April 26, 2007, in Lifecare at Lofland Park in Seaford. She was 60.

Born in Washington, she was the daughter of the late Wallace J. Garner Sr. and Peggy Calvert Gray Garner.

She graduated from Suitland (Md.) High School.

Mrs. Darling had worked for the Queen Anne's County Board of Education as a teacher's aide in the Kent Island and Grasonville elementary schools from 1974 until 1991 when she retired.

She and her husband, Richard A. Darling Sr., had moved to Seaford from Kent Island in 2001.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Darling is survived by two daughters, Robyn Coughenour and her husband, Thomas of Preston, Md. and Beverly White and her husband, Tony of Laurel; one brother, Joseph Garner and his wife, Georgi of Kanab, Utah; and two grandchildren, Cassidy and Molly.

Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at Fleetwood Drive and Nylon Boulevard in Seaford, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Friends may call Sunday evening from 5 to 8 at the Moore Funeral Home, PA, 12 S. Second St. in Denton, Md.

The interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery on Md. 50 near Easton, Md.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests sending memorial donations to the St. Jude's Research Children's Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale St., Memphis, TN 38105.
