B. Victoria 'Vicki' Johnson, 85
MAGNOLIA - B. Victoria "Vicki" Johnson, of Magnolia, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, at her daughter's home. She was 85.
Mrs. Johnson was born Oct. 29, 1922, in Chicago, to the late Alfred Forsberg and Ruth Johnson Forsberg.
Mrs. Johnson worked at Playtex for 15 years as a personal secretary and then manager of its credit union for seven yearsk, retiring in 1986.
She was an active volunteer for AARP state and local branches and Delaware State Police.
She was a member of the Modern Maturity Center in Dover and was a charter member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Dover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Johnson, in 1979; her son, Randy Lee Johnson, in 1945; a brother, Carl Forsberg; and a sister, Eleanor Forsberg.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by two sons, Gary Johnson and his wife Lisa of Farmington, and Greg Johnson and his wife Laurie of Magnolia; a daughter, Karen Morton and her husband Michael of Magnolia; a brother, Kenneth Walter Forsberg of Scottsdale, Ky.; seven grandchildren, Evan Johnson, Sarah Marie Johnson, Gabrielle Johnson, Philip Johnson-Bevins, Gary Johnson II, Tyler Banks and Michael A. Morton; and a great-granddaughter, McKenzie.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, where friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
