SMYRNA - Audrey M. Ferguson of Green Valley Pavilion Nursing Home, Smyrna, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, in the nursing home. She was 80.
Mrs. Ferguson was born in Omaha, Neb., daughter of the late Andrew and Hilda (Duggan) Mitchell.
She lived in Salisbury, Md., prior to moving to Delaware in 1982.
Mrs. Ferguson was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She had a special fondness for shopping. She enjoyed those moments spent with her friends and especially treasured the times spent with the "English Ladies."
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ferguson; and two sons, Paul Ferguson and Gregory Ferguson.
She is survived by two grandsons, Travis Ferguson and Brian Ferguson; a granddaughter, Katrina Ferguson; a caregiver and friend, Patricia Weaver of Harrington; a cousin, Gerry Potter of Hamilton in Ontario, Canada; and several cousins living in Canada and England.
Friends may call 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Cross Church, Dover.
