FEDERLASBURG, Md. - Audrey M. Cox of Federalsburg died Monday, March 26, 2007, in Memorial Hospital at Easton. She was 90.
Mrs. Cox was born in Delaware, daughter of the late William Kirwin and Sarah Nina Hanson Smith.
She grew up in the Andersontown area of Denton and was a farmer"s wife and homemaker.
Mrs. Cox was married for 62 years to William J. Cox.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Cox May 11, 1997; a daughter, Elnora Cox; a brother, Francis Smith; and a sister, Emma M. Cordrey.
She is survived by two sons, William Cox of Newark, Del. and J. Gary Cox of American Corner; and a brother, C. Irwin "Smitty" Smith of Denton.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second St., Denton, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in Denton Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Concord United Methodist Church, c/o Mrs. Susan Neal, 8491 Andersontown Road, Denton, MD 21629.
