Audrey Heisner

Audrey Heisner, 79

ASTON, Pa. - Audrey Heisner, of Aston, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, in Crozer Chester Medical Center. She was 79. She was born in Manhattan, N.Y., daughter of the late Ernest and Dorothy Knowles LeVesque. She was raised in North East, Md., and has resided in Aston for the last 60 years. Mrs. Heisner was a registered nurse at Crozer Chester Medical Center for 40 years. She retired in 1994. She graduated from North East High School and the Chester Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Heisner was an active member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church in Aston, The Crozer Chester Alumni, and achieved a green belt in karate in 1985. Her husband of 36 years, Edward C. Heisner, died in 1985. She is survived by a son, Mark Heisner of Aston; a sister, Mille Hamway of Jacksonville, Fla.; and one grandson. She was a mother to the late Curtis W. Heisner who died in 1989. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, 4020 Concord Rd., Aston PA, 19014. Burial will be private. Donations may be made to Mt.
