DOVER - Anthony F. Saldutti of Dover passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, in Christiana Medical Center, Wilmington. He was 76.
He was born Feb. 2, 1931, in Lansdale, Pa., to late Ferdinado and Maria (Tecce) Saldutti.
He was a life member of American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3238, Camden.
Staff Sgt. Anthony F. Saldutti was with the 377th Supply SQDN, 377 Air Base (PACAF) Tan Son Nhut Air Force Base, Vietnam. He was recognized for service to his country with the Decorations Award. He distinguished himself while performing his duties in Vietnam by receiving the Bronze Star for the rescue of a fellow airman.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Samuel Saldutti and Emilio A. Saldutti.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Elsbeth "Betty" Saldutti of Dover; and nephews, Mario Saldutti of Lansdale, and Frannie Saldutti of New York.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Dover.
Friends may call at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Trader Funeral Home, Dover.
