HARRINGTON - Little Annie went to Heaven to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 2, 2009. Annie was an exceptionally happy child, was an outgoing free spirit, and loved everybody. She was an "old soul" as she was very mature for her young age. She loved going to church and Sunday School. She was not afraid to talk about her Lord to anybody. She served as a witness to everyone at the hospital, and even sang her favorite song, "Jesus Loves Me," to her group of doctors. All through her illness, she never complained one time, and she made sure she took the time to pray for the healing of others. She loved her brother dearly, and upon waking from every procedure, she asked for him. She especially loved her mom and dad. Every day she awoke at 5:30 to be with her daddy before he left for work, to wish him well. Annie touched the lives of everyone that she came in contact with. Her spirit and loving nature touched the hearts of so many. She had a giving heart and never asked for much. She never hesitated to give up her own toys to others in need. She will truly be missed, and those who had the fortune to come in contact with her will be forever blessed. Annie loved beading and making necklaces. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her two dogs Jack and Buddy. In addition to her loving parents, Stephen and Roberta "Bobbie" Brown of Harrington, Annie is survived by her brother, Aaron Glen Brown of Harrington; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Regenia Brown of Harrington; maternal grandmother, Elaine Benson of Missouri; maternal grandfather, Robert Sederquest of Harrington; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE 19952. Interment will be at the Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
