Annetta J. Gunter, 65

MARYDEL - Annetta J. Gunter of Marydel died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 65.

Mrs. Gunter was born April 7, 1941, in Clincho, Va., daughter of the late Olin and Nora Davis Powers.

She was a homemaker and was known for her sweet concoctions.

Mrs. Gunter loved spending time with her family and enjoyed playing the slots.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, John E. Gunter of Marydel; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Pamela and Thomas Keis and Rhonda and Ryan Horiuchi, all of Marydel; two brothers, Mitchell Powers of Virginia and Ray Powers of Maryland; a sister, Pansy Taraila of Hartly; and three grandchildren, Rebekah Keis, Thomas Keis Jr. and Ryan Horiuchi Jr.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday in Trader Funeral Home Inc., 12 Lotus St., Dover.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Templeville Cemetery, Templeville, Md. The Rev. Milton Kemp will officiate.
