LINCOLN - Anne B. Davis, of Lincoln, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2011, at home. She was 95. She was born in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Ambrose M. and Effie (Rawe) Bartelle. She was a sales clerk for Sears and Wharton and Barnard Auto Parts. She was a loving grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and enjoyed reading and traveling. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Daniel Williams; and her daughter, Rose Marie Plummer. She is survived by her granddaughter, Carol Wells and husband Donald of Lincoln; four great-grandchildren, Sherry Wells, David Wells and his wife Kelly, Daniel Wells and Gerald Wells and his wife Courtney; five great-great grandchildren, Brianna Wells, Bryce Wells, Isabel Wells and Maya Wells and Aiden Wells; and her sister-in-law, Frances Clark. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE, where friends may call after noon. Interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Seaford. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-0163; or Vitas Hospice, 1016 N. Walnut St., Milford, DE 19963.
