Anna Mae Meredith

FEDERALSBURG - Anna Mae Meredith passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013 in Greenwood. She was born on Jan. 22, 1923 in Federalsburg, the daughter of the late Harlan Clevenger and Maggie Dryden Lare Clevenger. She was married to Russell A. Meredith who preceded her in death in December of 1979. She was a member and past trustee of Bloomery United Methodist Church. She worked at Maryland Plastics as a warehouse supervisor for 65 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Johnson and her husband, Jack of Seaford, Pam Tull-Baynum and her husband, James of Greenwood; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Cora Bell O'Connor of Federalsburg; brother-in-law, William Frampton of Denton; sister-in-law, Barbara Taylor and her husband, Jack of Seaford, and a daughter-in-law, Lucille Meredith of Sykesville, Md.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, John Robert Meredith; two sisters, Eloise "Doodle" Fretterd and Martha Lee Frampton; and a son-in-law, Dennis Tull. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Marie Coulbourne officiating. Interment will follow in Bloomery Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
