DOVER - Anna Lee Helton "Ann" of Dover passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Silverlake Nursing Home. Mrs. Helton was born October 15, 1929 in Helton, Kentucky to the late Henry Whitehead and Purlina Deaton Whitehead. She was a homemaker and enjoyed bluegrass music, country music, gardening and southern cooking. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Walter Helton, 9 brothers, and 3 sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Morris and her husband Carlos Morris, Jr. of Dover; brother, Stevie Whitehead of Michigan; sister, Ruby Seeney Walton of Dover; grandsons Carlos Morris III, and wife Ashley, of Camden; and Marcus Alan Morris, of Dover; and special friend Carla Morris. The family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone at Silver Lake Nursing Home who assisted her, those who befriended her, and became her second family. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 12 noon - 2 p.m.. Interment will be in Immanuel Union United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S.
