Ann Marie Branigan McLaughlin, 81
Ann Marie Branigan McLaughlin, long time resident of Dover and McCauley's Pond, Delaware, passed away on April 14, 2022.
Ann grew up in the Philadelphia area and graduated from Upper Darby High School. She was devoted to her family, proud of her Irish heritage, and loved her golden retrievers, travel with husband Pete, and a good laugh. She organized successful petition drives that brought street lights and community trash services to her neighborhood in the early 1970s. She enjoyed a long and happy career at Legislative Hall in Dover and helped usher the Legislature into the computer age.
Ann will be missed by her loving family: beloved husband of 60 years, Pete McLaughlin, children Kathleen Faircloth (Doug), Tery Luchetti (Bob), and Pete McLaughlin (Jennifer), sisters Mary Jane McCrystal and Jean Clampffer, six grandchildren, and one great-grandaughter.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Delaware Hospice for the care and comfort they provided Ann. We also would like to thank Dr Joseph Rubacky for his care over the years. Information concerning memorial arrangements will be available at www.torbertfuneral.com.
