Alice Marie Emory

MILFORD - Alice Marie Emory passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2018 at Milford Memorial Hospital. Alice was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Brown) Ingram.
She was a homemaker. Alice enjoyed gardening and tending to the flowers in her yard. She also enjoyed cooking and sewing. Most important to Alice was her family, who she loved spending time with and prided herself in being able to take care of them when there was a need.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Emory; her son, William Emory, Jr.; her daughter, Sharon Parsons; her sister, Shirley Shahan; and two brothers, Charles Ingram, Jr. and Bill Ingram.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Merchant; two sons, Michael Emory (Jennifer) and Scott Emory (Amy); one brother, Donald Ingram (Judy); 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where a viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Rt. 113, Milford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Vitas Hospice, 100 Commerce Drive, Suite 302, Newark, DE 19713.
