FELTON - Alice Ann Williamson, of Felton, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 86.
Mrs. Williamson was born July 30, 1920, daughter of the late Raymond B. Lolley Sr. and Gracie V. Lolley.
She was educated in the public schools of Wilmington.
Mrs. Williamson married Fred D. Williamson Jr. on Feb. 12, 1943, and had two children. They later adopted a third child.
She was employed with Swift & Co., but retired from ConAgra in 1989.
Mrs. Williamson was a faithful mother, disciplinarian and usher of New Hope Pentecostal Church, Dover.
Mother Williamson loved caring for her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Nathaniel Lolley, Raymond Lolley Jr., Cornelius Lolley and Lester Lolley; four sisters, Myrtle Rasin, Helen Lolley, Mary Raikes and Adelaide Hollis; and a grandson, Kenneth J. Smith Jr.
She is survived by three children, Alice W. Smith and her husband, Kenneth J. Sr. of Felton, Fred Williamson III of Dover and Almetres Lolley of Wilmington; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Williamson of Camden; two sisters, Jeanette Cooper and Delores Watts, both of Wilmington; a brother, Vereen Lolley of Wilmington; nine grandchildren, Shirlene Deshields and her husband, Jeffrey of Hartly, Pamela Hendricks and her husband, Dwayne of Lincoln, Kimberly Champagne and her husband, Cyrus of Sumter, S.C., Kennita Williams and her husband, Nicholas of Mary Esther, Fla., Tanitka Smith of Vineland, N.J., Onyae Williamson and Travaine Williamson and Fred D. Williamson IV; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a special and dear friend, Mother Elsie Hicks; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
