Alfredo Quinto Decena

GEORGETOWN - Alfredo 'Fred' Quinto Decena passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 18, 2016, surrounded by his loving family, at Beebe Hospital. Born in Manila, Phillipines, he was the son of the late Crisogono and Isabel Decena. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Decena; and his son, Alfred Decena. Fred retired from the United States Coast Guard after 21 years of service. Fred is survived by his son, Larry Decena; and daughters, Karen Cinquegrano and Judy Decena; step-son, Danilo Muldong; and step-daughter, Leilani Manio; six grandchildren, Junel Decena-Grande, Anthony Decena, Tonie Cinquegrano, Ivy Decena, Alfred Decena, and Demetrius Manio; two great-grandchildren, Olivya Decena, and Mason Decena. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 24, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, DE., 19947, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Delaware Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.
